Close Player Art


A simple module for FoundryVTT that adds a configurable hotkey (Default ` - backtick) for the GM to close open image popouts on player screens.

Features

  • Works for both image popouts and journal sheet popouts
  • GM-only control to close popouts on all connected player screens

Installation

1. In the Foundry VTT setup screen, go to the "Add-on Modules" tab
2. Click "Install Module"
3. Search for "Close Player Art" or paste this manifest URL:
4. Click "Install"

Usage

1. As a GM, press the configured hotkey (default: ` backtick) to close open image popouts on all player screens.
2. The module will automatically close any open image popouts or journal sheet popouts.

Configuration

You can change the default hotkey in the module settings:

1. Go to "Configure Settings" in Foundry VTT
2. Find "Close Player Art" in the list
3. Change the "Hotkey" setting to your preferred key

Compatibility

  • Minimum Foundry VTT version: 10.0
  • Verified Foundry VTT version: 12.330
