With the help of UBI, I can churn and try iteration after iteration of my DungeonDraft maps until I’m happy with the results, because don’t be fooled, even if you can see lighting on DD, nothing conveys the real player experience with their vision and lightning interaction like Trying the map with a player. I can’t speak for the other integrations, but just with the 1/3 I tried, this is a module I expect and hope will be in my arsenal for years to come!
And I can’t not give a special mention to the ease this has provided for saving the maps on my S3 bucket, no more maps on my little server disk space!
While I personally don’t use this very often because I have complicated walling setups and prefer to do them by hand, it is very useful if you want to quickly whip up a map in Dungeondraft and just import it without fine tuning by hand. It works perfectly for that purpose. It is a big time saver, and let’s be honest, there is no GM on this planet who has enough time… 😀
