A Foundry VTT Module to add GM-Only notes to entities (Actors, Items, Lights, Tiles, Drawings and JournalEntrys). This module is system independet, but has an additional feature to easily move GM notes to or from JournalEntrys content. For 5e it also supports the actors bio and items description.
It has keybindings so that you can select a token/drawing/etc on the canvas and bring up the GM notes for it. Note that it will prioritise an Active Window over a canvas object.
To install this package, open your Foundry Setup screen and navigate to your Module tab and click the Install Module button.
From there, you can either search for the package unique name: gm-notes or copy its manifest URL:
And paste it to the input box at the bottom of your window.
You can install this package directly to your Forge account.

I use GM Notes for my session notes.
I included a video about how I use it: https://youtu.be/acpn0loulnI
I love having GM notes tied directly to an entity, and ‘secret’ blocks aren’t so secret. I do hope this gets updated to work with V9.
I use this to keep a bit of secret information on journal entries and actors. My players are all pretty tech savy and tend to edit the source of journal entries etc. so using the secret blocks is not an option. This is a good alternative!
Some feedback: Sometimes, I wish the notes were not displayed in a separate application, but the sheet of the journal was changed (for the GM only), to display 2 tabs: 1 with the regular journal content, and another one with the GM Notes.
