Lord Stendor’s Chest of Maps – Inns and taverns

Lord Stendor brings you his chest of maps!

In it, this time, there is a collection of 5 amazing maps of inns and taverns in various locations.

Each map is a highly detailed environment and designed for use by the Dungeon Master to place an adventure. The various establishments have several rooms and locations for encounters, ambushes and interactions. The maps are at various sizes and with a varied number of floors.

The chest in detail includes:

1) Large City Inn: The large city inn is an inn that has everything. A beautiful two-story building made of stone, this inn has a great hall with almost a dozen tables, a large hearth with seating for a bard or other performer and a bar. The ground floor, on its north side, houses a large kitchen with a separate pantry. On the south side, is a large room with two beds and a desk for the more educated clientele, a common room that can sleep at least five and the stairs that lead upstairs. On the upper floor, there is variety of rooms including small single-bed rooms, four person bunk bed rooms, and luxury twin-bed rooms. There is also the innkeeper’s family room right next to the stairs. The inn also has a cellar (accessible from the kitchen) with various stored goods, carpenter and other tools, and of course lots of barrels of ale. The map is 7200px x 3000px.

2) Rural Inn: A large inn located in a rural area that has several buildings. The main building is made of plaster and wood, and it is a large inn with a big great hall hosting several tables. There is a bar and a kitchen with a separated pantry. On the other side of the building, there is a storage closet, a single room with two beds and a common room with seven pallets. The map also features a wooden brewery/barn building with vats, barrels etc. The map also has a wooden stable building with several stalls and various tools of the trade. Finally, there is a chicken coop, a well, a vegetable garden and a nearby river. The map is 4950px x 6300px.

3) Small inn, 3-story: This is a small inn designed to be placed anywhere. The building is made of plaster and wood. There is a good sized common area with three large tables, a bar and a kitchen with a pantry. Also, on the ground floor, there is a stable that can house several animals. A stair leads to the second story where there is a balcony overlooking the common area that has four more tables. A corridor leads to three small guest rooms and the stairs for the third story. On the third story, there are ten more rooms, most are small one person/bed rooms but there are three that have a twin-bed and are more spacious. The map is 5850px x 2100px.

4) Desert Inn: This inn is located in an oasis. There is a beautiful oasis pond with several trees and bushes outside the inn which also has a stable attached to it. The inn itself is a series of interconnected sandstone buildings. It is one story only which has a large common area with an open grill, a bar, and a kitchen with a pantry. Also, on the southeast end of it, there is a tile decorated bathhouse room with a pool, stools and other decoration. A series of single bed rooms is located on the western wing of the complex (and one on the north). There is also a common sleeping area with hammocks that can sleep six. In the center of the complex, there is an open area with a luxury garden table to enjoy tea or hookah. The floors of the inn are pressed earth with several handmade rags decorating the place. The map is 4350px x 2850px.

5) Sketchy tavern: This single story building is actually three buildings connected. The walls are made of stone, painted black on the outside. The floor is aged wood, walked upon a million times. The main area is dimly lit and has a bar with several tables. It is decorated with several hunting trophies. There is a stool next to the fireplace for a bard or similar performer. The building has a series of minor rooms and niches with several tables, hosting people that try to avoid prying eyes. The tavern also has a kitchen. The map is 3900px x 2850px.
