This module adds a PopOut! button to most actor sheets, journal entries, and applications.
The PopOut! button allows you to open a sheet/application/document into its own window, for easier viewing or for use with multiple monitors.
This module does not work in the standalone FVTT Application.
This module is tested on Chrome and Firefox and under Linux and Windows 10.
This module is only tested against the base Foundry application using the DnD5e system. While most other systems and modules should work; Just because there is a PopOut! button on a window, does not guarantee that it will work.
Due to the necessarily brittle nature of how this module is implemented, other modules may lack functionality or break completely when popped out.
To install this package, open your Foundry Setup screen and navigate to your Module tab and click the Install Module button.
From there, you can either search for the package unique name: popout or copy its manifest URL:
And paste it to the input box at the bottom of your window.
You can install this package directly to your Forge account.

As a DM this doesen’t feel like a huge change, especially since it can’t even be used unless you are for some reason DMing from a browser, but for the players, and particularly any player with a lower quality PC, this is a huge upgrade
As a GM who isn’t using my desktop computer to host Foundry, I find this plugin invaluable.
You can never have enough screen real estate and this really facilitates moving frames to other monitors.
All of my players are tech savy people with multi monitor setups. This module let’s them (and me, too) utilize multiple monitors to their full extent, leaving more room for viewing the beautiful scenes you can have in Foundry.
In my opinion, this should be functionality provided by the core software, but until that happens, this module is a good solution.
Highly recommended to anybody who has multiple monitors (or has at least one player with multiple monitors).
